ABOUT US
The Shepherd's Place is a free afterschool program that provides a safe place for youth in grades 6 - 12 to participate in projects in various areas of interest such as art, cooking, engineering/building, games & sports, horticulture, music, homework help/tutoring/ACT & SAT prep, and leadership. Through the mentoring of adult Christian role models, youth have fun, get help, and find hope as they develop their gifts and learn life skills that shape them into the people God calls them to be.

WHO WE ARE
The Shepherd's Place grew out of a great need in our community - school ends at 2:15, and many youth are on their own until evening. Unsupervised youth are at risk for poor self-image, depression, teen pregnancy, substance abuse, poor grades, dropping out of school, bullying, and other adverse results of poor decisions.
Many youth have never been to church and are starving for a relationship with God.... (learn more)
